About FFARQ

Furry Friends Animal Rescue Queensland is a 'volunteer run' registered charity focusing on rescuing and rehoming stray and abandoned pet cats and kittens. We receive no government funding, and extensively depend on support from the public. We rely on assistance from our fabulous team of volunteers who work across a variety of functions, including fostering our kittens and cats.

Each foster carer is allocated to a Foster Carer Coordinator , who will work with you in your fostering journey with us.

FFARQ have developed a set of protocols and procedures to ensure we are consistent in our care, and delivering the best care possible. Please feel free to discuss any recommendations you may have with your Coordinator, before you make any changes to your care.

Thank you for your commitment to FFARQ and your foster kittens and cats, we are sure you will find it reqarding to be part of our caring, compassionate community.
